Things to do in Dumbarton

The beauty of this location, right on the banks of the River Clyde, with the River Leven running alongside the town, is you are on the door-step of Loch Lomond and can easily visit the Trossachs National Park, just a few miles north on the A82. If daily walks in the countryside are your thing, this is the place for you, there are numerous walking routes through the National Park.

The apartment is on the boundary of Meadows Park, an ideal place to walk your dog each day as pets are allowed at this property. A short walk through the town, and over the River Leven, at Bridge Street, offers further walks along the river and through Levengrove Park.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink within just 5 mins walk of the flat: Haveli Family Buffet, Grill on the Bridge, The Glencairn Lounge, Counting House, and Rigo's Bistro, to name a few, are all close by.

 

You can also quickly get into Glasgow for packed days out. Glasgow is Scotland’s biggest city. Situated on the banks of River Clyde, it is celebrated for its vibrant shopping districts and abundance of culture. This city is a great destination if you want a fulfilling and varied experience of culture, food, shopping, or music. You find a warm welcome, the phrase “People Make Glasgow” will readily come to mind. Top places to go to are Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Shopping on Buchanan Street, The Riverside Museum, and the Glasgow Science Centre.
