Things to Do in Crieff

This is a traditional Scottish town, with lovely traditional stone buildings and houses. In the heart of Crieff is the MacRosty Park, a wooded area for walks, picnics and play, there are also concerts during the spring and summer months.

On the town’s outskirts is Creiff golf course, rated one of Scotland’s top inland courses, which has 27 holes (18-hole course and a 9-hole), and was founded around 1880.

Crieff has many wonderful walks that can be explored in the surrounding countryside and along the rivers and Lochs in the area. Drummond Castle grounds, the River Earn, Loch Earn, Loch Tay, Currochs Circuit Walk and Deil’s Cauldron Waterfall offer endless hours in the countryside.

 

Great food can be had at KB’s Italian Restaurant, The Square Bar & Kitchen, Delivino, Craobh – Kroov and G’s Bistro, with excellent takeaways from The Thai Esan and The Gurkhas.  Perth is just a 30min drive away, and there are many top places to eat and drink there as well.


Great days out can be had at Stirling Castle, Auchingarrich Wildlife Park, Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park and Rodney Gardens.

From the a9 cut-off heading to crieff, it's around a 21 minutes drive, if you follow the address on google maps it will take you straight to the property.

Parking is available on the street but there is parking around the back of the property,
