Your are in the heart of the old town with the River Leven running along side the old town. There are plenty of places to eat and drink within just 5 mins walk of the flat: Haveli Family Buffet, Grill on the Bridge, The Glencairn Lounge, Counting House and Rigo's Bistro, to name a few, are all close by.

There are great walks around the town, you are never for from the water here! You can cross over the River Leven at Bridge Street and walk to Lengrove Park. Here you'll find the Pavilion Café , Dumbarton Athletics track and Sandpoint Marina.

 

You are not far from Glasgow, so if you fancy a trip into Scotland biggest city, its just a short journey away. Glasgow is situated on the banks of River Clyde. Directions

From the south, take the M74 towards Glasgow. As you approach Glasgow, at Junction 21, follow the signs for the M8 towards Paisley. Keep heading north on the M8, exiting at Junction 30 taking the M898 towards Erskin and the Erskin Bridge. Once over the bridge take the A82 towards Dumbarton. After approx 4 miles you'll approach a large roundabout, exit here, taking the 1st exit towards Dumbarton, just after exiting the roundabout take the B830 towards the centre.

At the end of the B830 you'll come to a large roundabout. Take the 4th exit onto Church Street. Then take the first left onto Station Road. Meadowbank Street is the 2nd turning on the left.

By Rail: You can disembark at Dumbarton Central. Walk on to Station Road. Meadowbank Street is the 2nd turning on the left, just 3 mins from the flat.
